Meet The Team

I grew U.S. a pastor’s son, and in the 60s, I chose a path of my own. Raced motorcycles in the late 60s with Triumph of Atlanta on Flat tracks and made commercials riding Honda Elsinore 125 and 250 class bikes. I served in the military during Vietnam, and upon returning to the U.S., I started riding with a 1% club, which landed me in Federal prison in N.C. for 7-years. My son died unexpectedly in 1998, and through that experience, I made peace with Jesus and began speaking in prisons.

Over the past 20-years, I have toured the U.S. with several well-known prison ministries roaming from prison to prison, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. I’m blessed to have crossed paths with inmate Encounter, a ministry professionally run and on point when it comes to sharing the gospel and helping men and women regroup after leaving prison. I’ve seen a lot of ministries that talk a good story but lack the true grit required to see it through to the mission fields behind bars. From Inmate Encounter’s leadership to its diverse membership coupled with the time and tenure in the business of saving souls, is what keeps me coming back for more.
